As aleader of an agency that developed global campaigns, and a high-performance creative team, I introduced regular meetings for seeking innovation and market opportunities. The campaign “Holiday on Repeat” comes as a good example of those meetings results, because not only was itconceived in a proactive way, but it was also a solution never considered before by our client, Hoteis.com, which brought outstanding result
How could we in crease sales after high-demand periods due to summer and winter holidays? Besides that, how could we convince audiences around the world by using the same arguments? It was a big challenge; after all, incentivizing the audience to book a hotel after they had just come back from holidays was a challenge it self, so how could we do it with the same impact, respecting the flavors (nuances, places and cultural differences) from each country? The idea wasto tell the audience that everyone, when coming back from holidays, usually experiences one or two week sof a minor after-holidays “depression”, as we get back to work after days of hectic pace or deep relaxation during holidays. So, why not consider, for the next weekend, taking a short trip to helpon the transition between holidays and work?
Through this strategy “Holiday on Repeat”, we had an increase of 19% (Latam) in the number of reservations after school holidays, compared with the same period of the previous year! As well as other relevant campaigns that I’ verun, such as “Black Friday”, “Champions League”, OlympicGames 2016”, “Holiday on Repeat” was just one more example of success in reaching/exceeding sales targets/reservations!That result was only possibledue to planning, innovation and creativity combined with the fine execution from the team I managed
